Ways I've Used It

I used it for a jamboard activity to have students quickly generate a large assortment of example images for different topics in science. Then we went through all of the examples together as a class. When using a Padlet, I always ensure to remind students of the expectations of appropriate responses.

  • Easy to use and set up.
  • Students can respond with text, images, or videos allowing for a wide variety of uses.
  • No student accounts required.
  • Can set up moderated responses, meaning if you have students you wouldn’t trust to submit appropriate responses you can filter them.

Cons

  • Only 3 Padlets available with the free version, so unless you’re going to pay you have to keep deleting old Padlets.
